This lock is suitable for existing uPVC and Composite doors, and fits any 92mm centre Multi-Point lock.
The easy to use keypad has digits 0-3, * & # with a pin code entry (10,000 possible combinations) and is complete with a sliding keypad cover which is both aesthetically pleasing and useful, as it protects the keypad from dust and moisture.
This product is also fitted with a high quality fingerprint sensor, capable of storing up to 39 fingerprints with user ID, alongside the 78 PIN codes.
The internal handle is fitted with a thumb turn, so as to be safe even in the event of an emergency and it is possible to issue PIN codes for visitor and emergency use, using the master code which can also add and delete existing codes.
The lock will automatically ‘freeze’ for 10 seconds upon incorrect entry 3 times, which could stop any would be vandal from continuing any further, and the lock is supplied with a mechanical key for emergency use which can be kept on your person, in a safe place, or conspicuously inside the lock behind a magnetic cover cap.
The unit is powered by 4 x AA batteries, which will indicate audibly when 100 uses remain, to give you enough notice to change the batteries. Should you fail to do so, there is a 9v temporary battery override which gives enough power to open the door and change the batteries. The unit also has an automatic ‘sleep’ mode when not in use, in order to conserve energy.
The unit is supplied complete with IP rated gasket and has a tamper alarm, which is activated when the unit is lifted 3mm from the door edge.
