This Key Fob Door Entry System is ideal for use in the home or for small office applications. Opening the door from 30m away it is also ideal for the disabled.
SSP's versatile keyless lock system comes with a receiver unit, electrical release (striker plate) and two key fobs, making it ideal for use on all wooden or composite doors which have a surface mounted lock (see pic no 7 right). Three Easy Steps to Setting It Up
1. Affix Striker Plate to Wooden Door Frame
System can be used in conjunction with an existing front door "Yale" lock/night latch. Simply replace the existing striker plate (metal plate with hole located on the door frame itself) with the electrical door release provided. This can be fitted into most wooden or wood composite doors.
2. Plug in the Receiver Unit
The electrical door release Strike Plate is then connected by a push-in wire to the Receiver Unit (also supplied). Positioned near the door itself, the receiver unit can then be simply plugged into the mains, using the 12volt plug-in adapter also provided.
3. Release Door.....

The Receiver Unit is already synchronised with both the two key fobs provided. To gain entry through the door, simply depress button as you approach it. Additional key fobs can also be easily added, making this product also suitable for a small office environment (see related links below).

Alternatively, the door can be opened from the inside from anything up to 30 metres away - making it ideal for elderly and/or those that are a little less mobile.
Installation
Because the system comes with a plug-in power supply and simple to follow wiring instructions, most DIY enthusiasts are able to carry out the installation without the need to call in an electrician. Indeed one of SSP's own staff members - who has little to no schooling in DIY - proudly installed one for his mother in less than an hour.
