This multipurpose polycarbonate cabinet has been designed to prevent theft and vandalism, as well as guard against dirt, dust and grime of essential remote AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units . External mounting tabs allow the cabinet to be easily installed on to any wall surface and enables the unit to be stored in a central location. This model includes a wire shelf, Select-Alert alarm/strobe and thumb lock facility, which helps deter improper use of the unit, without hindering legitimate use. This model also incorporates additional eyelet for a secondary safety seal.
The cabinet is constructed of a clear polycarbonate material, which allows the AED to be highly visible from any angle. If the cabinet is opened, the red electronic Select-Alert emits an ear piercing alarm and the LED flashes drawing immediate attention to the area. The Select-Alert alarm and strobe have independent timing choices of: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds or continuous. Select-Alert can be powered by a 9 VDC battery or external 12-30 volts.
