Manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel and sold in boxes of 10, 50 and 100, these shear bolts are SSP's latest addition to the anti-tamper bolt range.
Building on from the popularity of permanent shear nuts, this relatively new range of shear bolts was introduced by public demand. They are affixed by tightening into position with a standard wrench or spanner. The hexagonal part of the bolt (at the top) then shears off at a predetermined torque (tightness) leaving a completely tamper resistant cone.
