To be sold only with the the Announcer product, this pair of door contacts mean that the Announcer can be triggered when a door is opened. It is ideal for the following applications:
Fire exit and fire door messages
Positioned on internal fire exit doors and doors that open to the fresh air, these contacts help ensure fire door are never misused or held open for any extended period of time. Some installer put a 3 of 5 minute delay on this product to remind employees after a certain period has elapsed
Washroom message
Using contacts is a great way of remind staff and visitors of their responsibility to prevent the spread of germs by washing their hands.
Energy conservation messages
Reminding all entrants to turn off the light after they have been in washroom, store cupboard or some other fairly irregularly used room.
