Building on from the popularity of SSP’s range of shear nuts, in 2013 SSP Direct launched these A2 stainless steel shear bolts. As with shear nuts, these one-way machine bolts are affixed with a standard hexagonal socket or spanner.
How it works
When the screw is tightened into position the hex naturally breaks away leaving a conical dome that cannot be removed. To see exactly how this works, watch our short video
