This anti-bacterial touch-free infra-red door release button is designed to help prevent the spread of germs and bacteria around workplaces and public buildings. This is particularly helpful at slowing down the spread of Covid-19 in and around an office.

Bacteria and germs can easily be spread by more than one person touching the same object. This is certainly the case for exit door buttons which are regularly used to gain entry into controlled areas of the building. However, with this anti-bacterial touch free button, the operator simply needs to be wave his or her hand in front of the unit.

Button Operation
To activate, the operator's hand needs to be within 150mm of button. They then have 5 seconds to go through unlocked door.

Surface or Flush Mounted
Supplied with a back box, this unit can be either surface mounted or flush mounted (if removed from back box). It is also supplied with tamper resistant security screws, to stop unauthorised people accessing it.

Easy to replace existing buttons or switches
You can replace an existing conventional switch or push button with this unit. It can be easily retro-fitted onto an existing single gang back box.

Seen in the dark
Even in a darkened corridor, this switch discretely lights up so it can be easily located. It is red when not in use. Turns green when activated

Anti-Bac Plastic
Even if someone mistakenly touches this button, the plastic used has been specially formulated so bacteria and germs cannot settle and / or be easily transmitted from the button's surface.
