Can this button be flush mounted?

In short, not easily! This is a patented American button. The flush mounted version can only be fitted into a rectangular US-style single gang electrical boxes.

It is for this very reason we do not sell it as a flush mounted version. Instead, this product is always supplied with a suitable surface mounted backbox.
