1. Firstly, install step to exit peddle near existing door release button
2. Using two wires, wire the Step to Exit foot operated switch to the existing door release button. No electricity is required
3. Replace existing door release button and backplate with step to exit plate designed to glow in the dark with directional information
4. Enjoy hands free, touch egress throughout your building
