Electrical Permit To Work Self Duplicating - Pads of 50

These popular Electrical permit pads come as triplicate sets, glued at the head with a board back. This format means these are stored easily and simple to use, making them ideal for busy sites that need to issue permits regularly. 

Each pad has 50 Permits, made up of an original top copy and two duplicate sheets. 

These permits are designed to ensure Contractors comply with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and the Company's health policy. They also help businesses establish whether a contractor has Public and Employee Liability Insurance, and can provide a Method Statement on request.

How it works

Prior to starting any relevant work this self-duplicating RISK ASSESSMENT should be carried out by a contractor. On completion the top copy is held by the contractor and the secondary copy retained as a permanent record by the office.

Starting with the fundamental question "Are you qualified / trained to undertake this work?" and ending with the sign off of responsibility, amongst others, this permit to work poses the following questions:

• Have the relevant departments been advised of isolation?
• Has the electrical supply been switched off?
• Have any flammables / combustibles been removed?
• Is the fire procedure understood?
• Is the isolator locked off / tagged off?
• Are sprinklers in service?
• Are heat resistant screens in place?
• Are circuit breakers required?
• Is containment of sparks required?
