This  maglock has been fire tested on both 30 minute and 60 minute timber door sets. Having achieved the necessary standard on both, the access control professional can be sure it will still perform effectively in the event of a fire. In essence, this not only will keep their client the right side of the fire regulators, it will also save lives if called upon.

What does Monitored mean?

• Featuring a dual colour LED light, this is a great way of easily identifying problems:
• If the green light shows, the door is locked in position
• If the red light shows, the magnet is not locked
• If no lights are showing, there is no power getting to the unit i.e. the door is unlocked

Armed with this information the client can self-diagnose problems and relay which lights are showing via the phone. This will give the installer the opportunity to instantly get a head start on determining where the problem may lie before going to site.
