These popular Asbestos Permit To Work pads come as triplicate sets, glued at the head with a board back. This format means these are stored easily and simple to use, making them ideal for busy sites that need to issue permits regularly.
Each pad has 50 Permits, made up of an original top copy and two duplicate sheets.
These permits are designed to ensure Contractors comply with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and the Company's health policy. They also help businesses establish whether a contractor has Public and Employee Liability Insurance, and can provide a Method Statement on request.
These permits tackle a nu the key questions. Critically:
Does the work involve any process that may liberate dust, or are there any loose or dusty asbestos containing material present?
It goes on to assess whether you are a HSE licensed contractor inline with the Asbestos (Licensing) Regulations. Inline with this it establishes whether you have completed form ASB5 and have submitted your plans in writing to the enforcing authority 14 days in advance.
Finally, it reviews coatings, insulation, asbestos insulating boards and asbestos cement.
Each Permit is made up of an original top copy and two duplicate sheets. The back copy is made of card. On the reverse of this is a temporary warning sign should the contractor be required to display this while on site.
How it works
Prior to starting any relevant work this self-duplicating RISK ASSESSMENT should be carried out by a contractor. On completion the top copy is held by the contractor and the secondary copy retained as a permanent record by the office.
