The ST2600 wirefree intruder alarm kit is a PLUG & PLAY solution to remotely monitored security (when activated this system doesn't ring a bell it opens up a direct audio link to a 24 hour manned central monitoring station who will determine the nature of the problem and take the appropriate action).
The pre-programmed detectors are ready to operate simply enable the battery and they will identify themselves to the control panel once the panel has been initiated by plugging it into the mains supply and the telephone network.
So for a net price of £345.00 you receive a fully remote monitored alarm system capable of expanding up to 64 zones but with immediate protection from two easy to install movement detectors and two easy to install door contacts all controlled by 2 wireless key fobs.

1) What made you choose to buy these products from SSP Direct? I was looking for a large and sturdy plug cover for a plug near the floor that kept getting hit, and ended up finding your site through Google Images.
2) What did you think of the product? The product is very well made, It's sturdy and protects the socket very well. It drills directly into the wall and not just clips onto the socket like other products, which is much more secure. The edges are rounded and the whole front panel is curved so anyone who does catch it will not be injured. The internal depth is almost 11cm, so this is perfect for those with plug timers or other similar devices. Since I wanted to remove the plug without taking the whole cover off the wall I simply removed one of the fins from the backplate (As you can see in the attached image), however this is not the intended use for the product so I have absolutely no complaints.
3) What did we get right? Ordering process was quick and simple and delivery was impeccable. I ordered the product in the afternoon and it arrived the morning of the next day. That's faster than most other companies!
4) What could we improve? While installing the cover is pretty self explanatory for the most part, I would have said maybe include some simple instructions, however now I see that there is actually some on the website by clicking 'More info' and even a video. Very nice!
5) Is there anybody that you have dealt with that deserves a special mention in our team meeting? As I ordered online through the website I didn't actually have to deal with anyone.
I would rate both the product and the service 5 / 5. I would definitely recommend SSP and should the need arise for similar products SSP Direct will be the first place I go to.

Peter in sales was very helpful , the product is well priced and delivery very fast , the sign are good but have found that the frames rust quite quickly through the coat of paint that it has even in the store and one of the weld on the frame has come apart so a better care in manufacturing needs to be taken and some edges are sharp , and not sure if galvanising would be an option over painting we would have paid a bit more for galvanising as the signs are in the road sides at this time of your , I would rate SSP 4out 5 at present.

We did not have any person to person contact as all the confirmations were automated. Maybe make up a name and use that instead to give it a human touch at the end of the auto email. When someone asks about their order they can then reply thinking it is a real person!

We placed 2 orders, they were identical. We purchased 2 rectangular reflectors for our brick gate pillars. the reflectors were delivered in a timely manner.
The second order, 1 of the reflectors was slightly damaged on one corner, but not noticeable once erected on the wall. Shame though as the other 3 were without the fault.
Otherwise 100% happy and would use again. We selected your company as the reflectors were a better size than I had seen on alternative sites.

Thank you for your survey request. On the whole I was very pleased with the service SSP provided, except for the cost of postage for sending out a landscape folder - £6.95 – I didn’t need it as a matter of urgency so thought this quite excessive being that the folder cost £10!

1.What made you choose to buy these products from SSP? You have the one product that suited my needs. I couldn’t find similar elsewhere and importantly you were in the UK.
You could now add “protects against accidental damage by dogs/clumsy humans” to your list. (I have a large breed dog that doesn’t recognise its own size, strength and ignorance to wires and young people. My BT socket is near the floor by the front door and would constantly get pulled from the socket and damaged.)
2.What did you think of the product? Excellent. Easy to fit and surprisingly sturdy. Discreet as well being transparent. No more accidents.
3.What did we get right? Quality of product. Nice that the fittings were included although in my case the screws were too long. The dome is great and no sharp edges.
Reasonable price. Quick delivery.
4.What could we improve? Your advertising was not conducive to my initial search criteria so it took me a while to find it.
I would have liked perhaps easier access holes for the wires like a breakable tab so that if the wire did need replacing it wouldn’t require dismantling but I now it wasn’t designed for this purpose but it was the only one that fitted in the tight space I have.
5. Is there anybody that you have dealt with that deserves a special mention in our team meeting? Didn’t need to.

The mutual communication went quickly and accurately. There were some complications in paying that we came out together. In addition, the employees that I have spoken with were helpful and careful.

Hi, we are extremely happy with the product as it ticks all the boxes for the purposes that we are going to use it for. The reasons why we chose from yourselves is because of the positive reviews that you have had on previous products. We also believe that your company was the perfect choice. This is because after lots of research with yourself and other companies, your product was the best and cheapest out of the other competitors. We also wanted to choose a brand that we knew was reputable and sold products that were GDPR compliant which was exactly what we were after.

In terms of the product quality, we were very impressed with the finish and style as it looked very professional and to a high standard. In terms of information, the book is exactly what we were looking for and it is GDPR compliant which was the number one criteria for us to nail as a school.

As we are very impressed with this product, we would definitely buy a product and service from yourselves again. 
In terms of service, when we placed the order, it was a very quick turnaround as we got the order within a few days which was very good for us. Thank you for very speedy and efficient order/delivery process for the Clear Stop anti-tamper locking key cover that very well suits our needs to keep ‘wandering fingers’ away from our emergency and night time lighting control within our village hall. The product immediately came to our attention upon a Google search and is more effective that a wire cage. It could be improved if the unit was hinged rather than the slotting arrangement but I guess that would significantly increase the cost – and of course it is shatter proof if the operator forgot that there was no hinge.

I originally searched on the internet for a supplier of a Visitor signing in book and came across your website.  It was very easy to see what you were buying.
 
We purchased the book and sign in sheets a couple of years ago and need to order replacement sheets from time to time.
 
Unfortunately the last order I placed the delivery was made to our other office up in Cumbria even though the Invoice clearly stated our delivery address as our
Warrington office.  Luckily our IT Manager was visiting the Cumbria office and so was able to bring them back with him.
 
Overall I am very pleased with the service you offer.

3. What did you think of the product? Professionally made, bespoke detail such as company logos and information and most importantly fit for purpose. SSP offered a solution to a problem that other companies could not provide.

(sorry, we just want to understand the needs of our customers better) I wanted a product that looked professional with bespoke company information but that provided a practical secure solution without creating more work. One of the more generic sign in books would not have worked for us. If we had used the carbon copy pass books this would have created duplication and may have led to our visitors becoming confused or not competing the correct process to comply with our company H&S and fire compliance.

I was kept up to date with emails to tell me when I could expect to receive items and a follow up to ensure I was happy with the product. Great, speed of order processing was good and the goods arrived as expected, well packaged. it was fairly simple to navigate the website, although the pages can feel a bit cluttered. The pictures with dimensioned drawings were incredibly helpful and indeed in my case the deciding factor.

Excellent quality, very robust although I did not realise the produce I bought was not hinged, I didn’t pick up on that from the descirption. The lid lifts off. There are obvious advantages with that for installing it but a few downsides, such as it can be lost or broken. Still very happy with it.

Search on Google for simple to use passes, your product fitted our current needs

Apart from the initial hiccup with the loss of our order,  the service from that point was very good with swift turnaround of sample templates and changes requested.
3.    What did you think of the product?
The product has greatly simplified and speeded up our signing process, however on hindsight it would have been helpful to request  ‘date in’ and ‘date out’ columns on the pass book as we often have contractors on site for extended period during school holiday. This means that having to issue new passes daily we will go through supplies of passes quicker that previously.
We have also discovered that the holes punched in the sheets including the backing sheet do not line up with normal ringer binders so we need to re-punch to file the backing sheets for record keeping requirements as the folder is not deep enough to store more than a small amount of used backing record sheets

Very good. I liked the fact that people responded to my emails and phone calls even when someone was out of the office. The proofs arrived promptly which speeded up the whole process.

The website is too cluttered and busy. There are so many products advertised and so many options within each product range. I think that from a first time visitor’s perspective it can be a little overwhelming. A neater website with far fewer menus and sub-menus and fewer thumbnail images could be better. In terms of the visitors’ book, it was quite difficult to actually see (online) how it would operate as the images of it were displayed separately. A short video of someone signing in, tearing off, folding and placing in the pass holder may be clearer.

we chose this product to stop our friend (who has dementia) from altering the heat settings on her heating control panel. It took a while to fit, because a conduit ran alongside the control panel, and we had to alter the cover slightly to fit it in However, it works brilliantly, to the extent that we have given details of your website and taken a photo of the fitted cover to the housing association where my friend lives at the warden's request so that other people can one if required. I am a member of Friends of the Pepperpot Brighton and Friends of Queens Park Brighton.

We have an A1 interpretation board which is surface laminated to a 5mm hard plastic base and fixed  with 10 x 1 1/2 " pin hex button head screws to an external wooden door on the building.

In an area which suffers some vandalism it has stayed untampered with for 5 years and is as good as new. I have just ordered some more pin hex screws for signage and interpretation boards in the park.

It is also enables a relatively low cost solution.

I couldn’t really find the product anywhere else – I wanted “Caution Unmanned Aircraft operations” on a self-standing Sign (I prefer the term Unmanned Aircraft to Drone since the Yankees use Drones for military purposes)

Fine, no problem.

Just what I was after, size, weight, wording, colour. My only small criticism would be that it’s easy to pinch your fingers/hand at the top of the sign as you open it out.  I would have to warn other that were helping me to lookout for that.
4. We are currently re-developing our website, what improvements (if any) would you like to see?
I used the Product Search box to find “drone” (most commonly used term to describe unmanned aircraft) and matched about 25 products.  But I had to open each link in its own window to see if it was the sort of thing I wanted.  I would prefer it to list the product names with a small image alongside as it would save me time.

I cannot rate the whole experience from start to finish highly enough.

We bought the product from you because of the way Gwyn on answering the phone was so helpful and made the buying of the product so easy. Your prices didn’t really matter after that but I have to say they are very reasonable and the product is great. The website did not show exactly what I wanted hence speaking to Gwyn. A rating of 5 is very easy to give to your firm.

1.What made you choose to buy these products from SSP? - The website was extremely easy to use and in particular, the web chat helped me find what I was looking for. In addition, the video on Security items was a nice touch too.
2. What did you think of the service? - Excellent, the web chat was helpful and I was impressed that I was contacted later before the order went out to check I was happy.
3. What did you think of the product? - So far so good, although I haven't actually used the security items fully yet. I have just checked them for sizing and all seems good.
4. Was the website easy enough to use? - Yes, fairly straight forward. The only issue I had was with the sizing as I was working in inches or cms and the screw/bolt sizes were not. Perhaps a sizing table might help but I am not sure if this is something others would feel required.

Excellent service, the order was immediately acknowledged by Jenny Butler and I received the goods less than 24 hours after I placed the order.

Good website which is easy to use.

The delivery charge was quite high at £6.65 plus VAT for 5 small driver inserts but this was OK this time as I wanted them asap, I can't remember if the SSP website offered an option to chose a cheaper but slower service.

For my requirements on this occasion where I wanted immediate delivery I rate SSP at 5 out of 5

My only comment would be that filtering is not available from the search results. A search for “pin torx button head” gives 298 results with no option to filter the results list down.
I can alternatively choose the pin torx category and filter down but would be easier if search results could be filtered.

Service: Found the service 5 out of 5. Really good got the package within the time stated.
Product: The products are really good. My mother has dementia and lives at home. However she switches of gas central heating and moves the gas control to off. Has taken over a year to find products such as this. Would recommend you share your products with Social Services and Alzheimer's societies as none of these knew of these products. It has certainly given us peace of mind that my mum cannot switch off the heating now.  We needed a locking device to go over power supply and plug socket however you did not have 1 single locking product that covered both. So we purchased a plug socket and the larger key lock. It was a tight fit and we needed to move the gas timer controls to fit both. It would have been better to get 1 cover. Something to consider with your supplier.

We were very pleased with the service provided.
We found the website easy to use.
Initially, we thought that the product (a lockable cover for a double electric socket) was a little expensive once postage and packing and VAT was added, but we needed to safeguard a family member with dementia so went ahead with the purchase.  However, when it arrived we could see that it was of good quality, was easy to fit and operate and would say in hindsight that it does provide good value for money.  
We had looked at a cheaper version on the internet but judging from the feedback it was inferior (with only a plastic key) and not worth the money. We feel we definitely made the right choice.
We would certainly use your company again.
