** Due to the one-use nature of this product, once purchased SSP Direct is not able to refund against any returns of this tool. If the tool is found to be faulty we will of course replace it with a like-for-like tool. ***
On the SSP Direct website we sell a range of standard snake eye screws and their associated tools. However, for a variety of reasons, there are many, larger ‘two hole screws’ in use in the UK. These larger bolts are often used for their aesthetics as much as they are for their security properties. Invariably they are used to hold glass panels or fabricated metal in place.
This unique, hinged tool opens as wide as 15.5cm (although it is unlikely you will ever need it this wide!). More importantly, closed it 7mm across, from the outer edge of the two prongs (see image). The tool is designed to approach the screw in question from the side and loosen it as shown in the pictures.
The two hardened tips are slightly over two millimetres in diameter themselves. Before purchasing we would advise you firstly check the size of your screw’s holes and how wide they are apart (must be 7mm or more). Please note there may well be better suited tool in the related items below.
