According to the Department of Transport’s Builders Skips (Markings) Regulations 1984, skips deposited on a road of any kind must feature reflective yellow and red markers, identical to those prescribed for use on the rear of a heavy goods vehicle.
Schedule 1 (Regulation 3) specifies that these markers should be between 350mm and 700mm in length and between 140mm and 280mm in width.
These markers should be positioned on the far right hand and left hand sides of both ends of the skip.
These markers, sold in a pair, do just this. Utilising R2 reflective prismatic vinyl, these should be attached to a smooth, dry surface. For the best results, this should be affixed accurately at the first attempt. Please note, the finish and the longevity of the sign could be jeopardised if the surface is corroded or cracked in any way.

It was through an internet search that I found your company, in needing to buy a reflective post marker. Seeing photos on your website of the product in situation and having accurate measurements in millimetres was what made me decide to buy through SSP. The post marker wasn’t the cheapest available, but seemed the best choice and I’m pleased with the quality, thickness and rigidity of the metal sign. Also, the online purchasing process using a credit card was straight forward and it was really helpful having a sales invoice preferred for accounting purposes – this isn’t always the case from suppliers that I don’t hold accounts with, I often have to request this post sales from a customer services team.

I bought because you had the product in stock at a price I could afford.
The product does its job.
Telephone help was very good.
Information on web site was incomplete (hence the need to phone).
I can’t remember the name of the lady I spoke to, but she knew the products, what could be done and made exceptional arrangements for me without fuss.
I have no need for an SSP app.
