This unique GDPR compliant sign-in book with car registration and badge number fields has been developed to help you comply with the stringent new General Data Protection Regulations that came into force in 2018.
This book works by concealing your visitor’s sensitive data. Each visitor simply signs in on the blacked-out name panels. This information is then transposed through to the sealed Fire Register beneath. In the event of a fire, or if the information needs to be accessed by authorised personnel (the Data Controller), the sealed back page can be separated to reveal a full list of the visitors that are still on your premises.
As part of the signing in process, your visitor also records their initials next to the blacked-out name panels. This will help them when it comes to signing out. On leaving the building, they simply need to find their initials and record their departure time in the appropriate row.
